At the end of the day, animals are just that, animals. We must treat them with dignity because we could end up like those on this list if we don’t. The Ferret that eats human fingers is number ten. A pet ferret in Missouri swallowed seven fingers of a four-month-old sleeping infant in January 2011. The boy’s parents were startled by their baby screaming in the middle of the night. When the father looked into it, he discovered that their pet ferret had gotten loose and eaten their baby’s fingers.

He killed the Ferret by yanking it from his son and dialed nine one one. Unfortunately, the parents lacked the $100 license needed to keep the animal, and they ended up in hot water with social services. Fortunately, the boy survived, but he now only has two thumbs and one little finger.

Oregon pigs eating people is number 9. To hide the truth, bodies are fed to pigs in many movies. Pigs will indeed eat people if given half a chance. It appears to be a well-known reality. This was confirmed in 2012 when Terry Vance Garner, a pig owner, was devoured by his pigs.

When the 69-year-old went out to feed his pigs and didn’t return several hours later, his family went out to find him and discovered his dentures and a few small remains. Within hours, the pigs had devoured almost his whole body.

Some of the pigs weighed over 700 pounds, so they were enormous. It’s unclear if Garner collapsed because of a medical condition or whether the pigs were trying to hurt him. It’s both terrifying and unfortunate.

Number 8. The Foreign Humphrey Hippo Fool. In season two of Karl Pilkington’s A Fool Abroad, where the Hippo made a television appearance. Pilkington visits a South African family who owns a hippo and treats it as a family member. Humphrey the Hippo, according to Marius Els, was like a son to him. Humphrey had been Marius’s baby since he was five months old, but the 1200-pound Hippo finally killed him by biting him and dragging him into the water, where he ate pieces of his flesh.

Cynthia Lee’s Tiger is number seven. Cyndi Lee Gamble was a big cat trainer and owner who worked as a filmmaker. In 2006, she was tragically eaten by her 500-pound Bengal Tiger after a gate in its cage was left open. The 52-year-old enormous cat enthusiast was discovered dead in her Minnesota house, and it was determined that the tiger had pounced on her.

There have been several stories of big cats eating their owners, and there are numerous photos of Cyndi with her tiger as a result of her work. This is a sad case in which owners of large cats hold them captive to tame them as pets, which isn’t in their nature. Domestication isn’t feasible for wild animals.

Rocky, the Grizzly Bear, is number six. Rocky was a 4-year-old Grizzly stunt bear who appeared in several television and film productions, including Will Ferrell’s film Semi-Pro. During filming for a promo video at the Predators in Action facility in California in 2008, the young bear bit trainer Stephan Miller in the leg.

The horrific turn of events was captured on film when the cameras were still rolling for the recording. Stephen attempted a bear wrestling stunt that failed miserably. The video is shocking because, at first glance, Stephan appears to be doing well. He bled to death in minutes after the bear punctured his jugular vein.

Janet Veal’s Cats is number five. Janet’s story is sad. People make fun of lonely cat ladies, and Janet was one of them. In 2013, the 56-year-old was discovered on the floor of her Hampshire home, having been devoured by her cats. When neighbors found her letterbox was full, they declared her missing. Several of Janet’s cats had died of starvation, but some of them managed to survive for weeks by gnawing and feasting on their dead owner. Janet is believed to have slipped and fallen or developed a respiratory problem that contributed to her death.

Number 4. 46 dogs gorged themselves on a single human. A woman from Arkansas was responsible for the deaths of 27 dogs in 2015. Authorities had been visiting the 65-year-old woman, who had Hepatitis C and lived in a trailer with her pack of 46 dogs, requesting that she give up some of her animals. Unfortunately, she died, and by the time the police arrived to investigate her death, the dogs had already started eating her flesh. It wasn’t that they were just giant dogs. Some of them were very small. They’d been seriously malnourished and needed to feed. Unfortunately, 9 of the dogs were shot to gain access to her trailer because they had become protective over their food. About half of the dogs, or 27 in all, were euthanized in the end.

The hamster that burrowed into a face is number three. Dr. Carolyn Rando, a forensic anthropologist, told BuzzFeed a terrifying tale about animals that ate their owners. She explained that she was working on a case involving a woman who died of pneumonia and was discovered with strange marks on her face. The woman’s fuzzy pet had made a new home in her decomposing face. Rodents do use bodies as shelter, according to Dr. Rando, but it’s typically when they’re reduced to bone. To ground down their front teeth, some rodents gnaw on bones.

Number 2. This python consumed a man entirely. Pythons have killed many people, but they have a hard time eating them. In a March 2017 news report, a Python swallowed a man whole, and the aftermath was captured on video. While working on a palm oil plantation in Indonesia, a 25-year-old man named Akbar went missing. The snake, a reticulated python, one of the world’s largest snakes, captured and ate Akbar. Locals spotted the 23-foot snake bulging and sliced it open to expose the young man’s body.

Finally, Bettina the Black Widow is ranked first. After residents complained about a stench, police were called to Mark Vogel’s house in 2004. Unfortunately, the police uncovered a horrible scene at the man’s apartment in Dortmund, Germany. Vogel was described as a recluse who shared a small jungle apartment with hundreds of exotic animals. A black widow spider named Bettina, several other dangerous spiders, and several lizards and snakes were among the animals. Bettina was suspected of biting Vogel, who was then devoured by the rest of his pets.

According to police who entered the apartment, his 30-year-old body was covered in giant webs, with chunks of his flesh lying in webs of tarantulas and bird-eating spiders in other corners of the room. Spiders were even coming out of his nose and mouth, according to one of the officers. How did they manage to escape? He’d been dead for a few days when the heating elements in some of the animals’ cages blew up, allowing them to escape. There you have it, the top ten animals that ate their owners, which is very frightening and has put me off owning pigs for the rest of my life!
